Established in 2004, University & Industry Alliance (U&I) is a not for profit centre of the University of Dhaka, engaged in delivering high quality professional services to business and industry. The focus of the centre is to strengthen institutional capacity through consulting and executive development support.

Adding on to its own resource base, the centre is mandated to provide support to business and industry, in partnership with other public and private sector providers in this field. These include various specialized centers of the university encompassing a wide range of disciplines and partner institutions within and outside the country. A multi-disciplinary resource base enables U&I to take up “multi-task” projects, often demanded by our clients as package services.

This website provides brief descriptions of the consulting and training services that U&I has been providing in various management functional areas and to some specific sub sectors. It highlights on the organizational aspects of U&I, including various councils through which it links itself with certain priority areas of the industry. The website also outlines a number of social development projects that the centre has undertaken as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda.
