National University held a meeting with Professor G M Chowdhury, President, University & Industry Alliance, DU on March 7, 2007regarding the skill enhancement of NU officers and stuffs in order to ensure a more efficient and effective teamwork in the administrative activities for the near future. The meeting was presided over by Professor Dr. Syed Rashedul Hasan, Pro-Vice Chancellor, National University and attended by distinguished teachers and officers of NU.

The prevailing issue of the meeting was the need for training programmes for the management personnel, officers, and stuffs in NU. U & I Alliance-a management and training consulting centre of the University of Dhaka, has conducted several skill development training workshops, including the one for the faculty members of Dhaka University. Professor S R Hasan emphasized on Communicative English enhancement, office and file management, office etiquette orientation, computer skills development etc. for the officers and staffs of his esteemed institution. Professor G M Chowdhury suggested an intense two week training session for each batch. The training programme is expected to take off in May 2007.
